Peter Alonso, 1B, Triple-A Las Vegas (No. 63) -- ETA 2018
The 23-year-old Alonso had a great week with Triple-A Las Vegas, going 6-for-13 with two homers, two doubles, and six RBI. His best night was a 4-for-5 night on Tuesday, where he was a triple shy of the cycle. Alonso's slash line has now rose to .251/.350/.556 with 13 homers and 49 RBI over 44 games with the 51s. His line on July 7 was .171/.330/.368. Assistant GM John Ricco said earlier last week that Alonso is entrenched in Triple-A for now.
Andres Gimenez, SS, Double-A Binghamton (No. 59) -- ETA 2020
The 19-year-old Gimenez was recently promoted to Binghamton, where he is the second-youngest player in the league. He has continued his hit streak, pushing it to six games. He has also double three times in his last four games. Gimenez' average has crept over .300 at .305 with a .397 OBP and .407 SLG as well.
Justin Dunn, RHP, Double-A Binghamton (No. 98) -- ETA late-2019
Dunn, 22, bounced back after a rough start back on July 28, where he gave up seven runs on 10 hits. The righty may have picked up the loss, but he only allowed one run on a solo homer while scattering three other hits over six innings. He also struck out nine and walked two in that span. Before being promoted, Dunn -- the Mets' first round pick in 2016 who is having a huge comeback season -- had a 2.36 ERA and 1.27 WHIP in nine starts for High-A St. Lucie.
Franklyn Kilome, RHP, Double-A Binghamton (NR) -- ETA late-2019
The 23-year-old Kilome didn't last long in his latest start on Aug. 4, but he was effective. He allowed two runs, one earned on four hits while striking out five and walking two over 4.2 innings. Kilome, who the Mets acquired from the Phillies last week for Asdrubal Cabrera, made his Binghamton Mets debut on July 29, allowing four runs (three earned) on six hits while walking one and striking out five. Kilome has a 3.09 ERA over 11.2 innings with the Mets.
David Peterson, LHP, High-A St. Lucie (NR) -- ETA 2020
After allowing seven runs in his previous start, the 22-year-old Peterson was solid in his latest outing. He allowed three runs, two earned on eight hits while striking out six and walking one. According to ESPN's Keith Law, Peterson has been going through a 'dead arm,' period lately, which could explain his struggles of late. This start is an encouraging sign, though.
Anthony Kay, LHP, High-A St. Lucie (NR) -- ETA 2020
Kay has four straight losses on his stat sheet after his latest start. He allowed four runs on five hits over six innings. Over his last three starts, the 23-year-old has allowed 12 earned runs. Kay owns a 3.63 ERA over 39.2 innings with St. Lucie this season.
Mark Vientos, SS, Rookie Level Kingsport (NR) -- ETA 2021
The 18-year-old Vientos went 0-for-8 in a doubleheader on Aug. 6, but he managed to bounce back since then. In his last two games, Vientos went 5-for-9. He owns a .304/.380/.525 slash line with nine homers and 22 RBI this season.
Jarred Kelenic, CF, Rookie Level Kingsport (No. 67) -- ETA 2021
Kelenic, who the Mets selected with the No. 6 pick in the MLB Draft earlier this month, is still struggling after collecting just two hits in his last 17 at-bats. Before being promoted to Kingsport, Kelenic hit .413/.451/.609 for the Rookie Level GCL Mets.
Ronny Mauricio, INF, Rookie Level Gulf Coast League (NR) -- ETA 2022
The 17-year-old Mauricio, who the Mets gave $2.1 million last season as an international free agent, started his professional career on a 20-game hitting streak, before it was snapped on July 13. He has struggled in his last five games, totaling just one hit over 19 at-bats. Mauricio owns a .293/.320/.461 slash line this season.
