Who is starting for the Mets?

RHP Noah Syndergaard (4.50 ERA/1.19 WHIP), who took the loss despite a solid seven-inning outing. Facing the Marlins, "Thor" allowed two earned on five hits while striking out three and walking one.

Syndergaard has been pitching deep lately, going at least seven innings in three of his last four starts.

Who is starting for the Tigers?

LHP Gregory Soto (10.80 ERA/2.20 WHIP), who has been smacked around early on this season. His first start on May 11 saw seven earned runs on nine hits come across to score. He has since settled down, allowing two runs to the Astros (though it was only two innings), and three runs over four innings to the A's in his last start.

The 24-year-old is still trying to find his way here in 2019, and this will be his first start off regular rest.
