Mets’ Jeff McNeil hoping strong spring start will carry over into 2025 regular season

For Jeff McNeil, struggled the the first half of 2024 but he came back strong after the All-Star break and is excited to be back to 100 percent health. The Mets second baseman made some swing adjustments that he feels will definitely help him at the plate. "Sometimes my swing gets in trouble when I try to guide the ball... worked hard this offseason to get stronger, improve my bat speed and hopefully see some results." McNeil was also thrilled to have long-time teammate Pete Alonso back in the fold saying, "One of my best fiends, played with him since 2016, so happy he's here and excited for him to show up."
