Mets prospect Drew Gilbert hit his first home run in the Arizona Fall League on Tuesday playing for the Scottsdale Scorpions.
With the count at 2-2, New York's No. 3 prospect, per SNY's Joe DeMayo, launched Mitch Myers' pitch to right field for a solo blast.

After hitting 10 home runs in 56 games in his first season with Triple-A, Gilbert got on the board in the AFL. The lefty-swinging outfielder entered Tuesday's contest 1-for-12 with a double, RBI, walk and two runs in three games.
Gilbert will likely begin the 2025 season in Syracuse, although he should be invited to spring training and be given a shot to play his way onto the Opening Day roster.
If not, the 24-year-old has a chance to make his debut at some point next season.
