Joey Lucchesi, who is getting the spot-start after spending the last three weeks with Triple-A Syracuse.

Lucchesi was sharp in his most recent start for the Mets, tossing 5.2 scoreless innings against the Cardinals on Aug. 18 in St. Louis.

In six starts for New York this season, Lucchesi has a 3.54 ERA and 1.28 WHIP with 22 strikeouts in 28 innings.

Zac Gallen, who is among the top contenders for the National League Cy Young award.

Gallen tossed a shutout this past Friday against the Cubs in Chicago, allowing three hits while walking one and striking out nine.

Overall this season, Gallen has a 3.31 ERA and 1.08 WHIP with 195 strikeouts in 187.2 innings over 30 starts.

The Mets and D-backs wrap up their series on Thursday at 4:10 p.m. on SNY.
