Noah Syndergaard pitched seven scoreless frames and the Mets hit four home runs en route to an 8-0 victory over the Red Sox on Friday in the first of three games at Fenway Park.

Things you should know about tonight's game...
1) Austin Jackson, Jay Bruce, Amed Rosario, and Jeff McNeil all contributed home runs, but Bruce led the way with four RBI. Bruce drove in the Mets' first run in the first inning before launching a three-run blast two innings later to make it 4-0. Jackson and Rosario each homered in the eighth inning -- Jackson hit a two-run homer while Rosario had a solo home run.
2) Syndergaard allowed just three hits, walked two batters, and struck out six in seven shutout innings. He worked himself out of some trouble in the third inning when Ian Kinsler singled and stole second before Jackie Bradley Jr. drew a walk. Kinsler stole third and Bradley Jr. stole second, but Syndergaard got Andrew Benintendi to ground out to retire the side.
3) Jerry Blevins pitched a scoreless eighth, allowing one hit, while Tyler Bashlor pitched a perfect ninth inning to secure the shutout.
