MLB Pipeline recently released its new list of the top 100 prospects in baseball.

Three Mets made the updated list: SS Ronny Mauricio (#84), 3B Brett Baty (#85), and SS Andres Gimenez (#94).

From the most recent rankings, which were released in mid-June, Gimenez dropped from number 59, Mauricio dropped one spot from 83, and Baty is a new addition.

Meanwhile, LHP Anthony Kay fell from number 96 to outside of the top 100. Kay is just 1-3 with a 6.61 ERA since being promoted to Triple-A Syracuse.

Gimenez was the only Met on last year's edition of the Top 100 list.

Gimenez, a 5-foot-11 shortstop, is currently playing at Double-A Binghamton, hitting .246 with five home runs.

Mauricio, a 6-foot-3 shortstop currently playing for Single-A Columbia, is hitting .281 with three home runs.

Baty, the Mets' first round pick in this year's draft, is hitting a combined .197 with three home runs and 15 RBI with Kingsport and the GCL Mets in rookie ball.

Also of note to the Mets, OF Jarred Kelenic, the key piece of the trade that brought Robinson Cano and Edwin Diaz to New York, has risen up the charts from 25 to 24 on the latest edition. Kelenic has hit .287 with 15 home runs this season in the California League and South Atlantic League.
