Mets acquire minor league OF Daniel Johnson from Guardians

Johnson has appeared in 35 career MLB games

The Mets announced they have acquired minor league outfielder Daniel Johnson from the Cleveland Guardians for cash considerations. 

The 26-year-old will be assigned to Triple-A Syracuse. 

Johnson has MLB experience, playing in 30 games with Cleveland last season, hitting .221/.259/.377 with four homers and five RBI. He has 35 games total.

The lefty has played 17 games with Triple-A Columbus this year, tallying three homers, two doubles and 11 RBI in that span.
