With the Yankees and Astros set to play another three games against each other at Yankee Stadium, it's hard not to look at comparisons between this series and the one that occurred two years ago.

In the 2017 ALCS, the home team won every game that was played, and unfortunately for the Yankees, the Astros had home field advantage for that series--just like they do again for this one.

But this time around, the Yankees return home from a two-game stint in Houston with a win already under their belt, and nearly came home with two before a-walkoff home run by Carlos Correra ended that dream. And yet, one game may be all the Yankees need now that they're back in New York.

Their success at home in the 2017 ALCS came in large part due to the atmosphere in the Bronx at Yankee Stadium, with the fans giving the players the extra boost needed to climb out of a 2-0 hole and win three straight games, taking the series lead back to Houston before falling in seven games.

"It was great, like always," Luis Severino, who will start Game 3 for the Yankees, said in a press conference Monday. "Those fans here bring everything to the game. It's not the same when you play at home, all those fans giving you all the energy, they make you go out there and compete and get a win."

That was a different team, and these Yankees know it, but to the fans, the Yankees will always be the Yankees, so expect to hear your TVs roaring if you aren't lucky enough to make it out to the stadium this week.
