The Knicks pushed their winning streak to three as they defeated the Golden State Warriors, 119-112, on Monday night at the Chase Center.

Here are some takeaways...

- The Knicks went back to playing shorthanded again in this one, as OG Anunoby missed the contest after his elbow issue flared back up. The star small forward returned to New York and underwent an MRI, which Tom Thibodeau said came back clean, but his timeline for a return is still unknown.

With Anunoby out, Thibodeau inserted Miles "Deuce" McBride into the starting lineup for the sixth time this season, and he took advantage of the opportunity right away. The red-hot guard knocked down six of his first seven shots from the field, five of which were threes, for a career-high 19 first-half points.

McBride was tremendous on both ends of the floor, playing his usual strong defense against superstar point guard Steph Curry while posting 29 points on 9-of-13 shooting from the field and a career-high six three-pointers made across 47 minutes of action.

- Coming off his Eastern Conference Player of the Week award, Jalen Brunson got off to a bit of a slow start, but he quickly settled into a groove. The All-Star point guard took over for the Knicks' offense to help keep them in front during the Warriors' second-half surge, finishing with 34 points and seven assists.

- Josh Hart shot just 5-of-18 from the field, but he continued to be a workhorse, picking up his fifth career triple-double with 10 points, 11 rebounds, and 10 assists while playing all 48 minutes.

- New York's other big men did well establishing their presence down low against the relatively small Warriors lineup, as Isaiah Hartenstein finished with a 13 point, 10 rebound double-double while Precious Achiuwa reeled in nine rebounds of his own off the bench.

- Donte DiVincenzo received a big hand from the crowd in his return to Golden State, where he spent last season, and he got off to a hot start, knocking down his first two shots from the first for five early points. The sharpshooter went on to finish with 18 points on 4-of-8 shooting from behind the arc.
