Five things to know from Saturday's game...

1) Once again, the Knicks allowed one player--this time Devonte Graham--go off on them and crush their spirits. Graham, a 2018 second round pick out of Kanas, hit a go-ahead three-pointer with 2.1 second left to send the Knicks packing. Graham scored 26 points and hit a stunning nine three-pointers to shut the Knicks down on their home floor.

2) The Hornets and Knicks couldn't have had more of different strategy when it came to shooting the basketball Saturday night, with the Hornets attempting a whopping 48 three-pointers--they hit 17 of them--to the Knicks' 20 attempts. However, the Knicks did a lot of damage in the paint in this one, scoring 46 points from in close. The Hornets used their three-point shooting to dig themselves out of a 13-point hole in the third quarter to take the lead early in the fourth, before a back and forth battle ended with Graham's dagger.

3) Dennis Smith Jr. regressed back to his early season struggles Saturday night after having his best game of the season Thursday night against the Mavericks. Smith Jr. finished with two points, zero assists and zero rebounds in 10 minutes player, and nearly fouled out with five fouls early in the fourth quarter. Frank Ntilikina picked up four fouls but was much more productive for the Knicks as their starter, scoring six points, dishing out six assists and grabbing three boards, while also stealing the ball three times.

4) Taj Gibson gave the Knicks some great minutes at the begining of the game, as he started his third game of the season at center. Gibson finished with nine points and seven rebounds. Mitchell Robinson, the Knicks' other center, was huge off the bench, picking up another double-double with 17 points and 12 rebounds--six of which came on the offensive glass.

5) RJ Barrett continued his strong start to his rookie campaign, leading the Knicks with 22 points on 50 percent shooting. He added five rebounds and two assists to his final totals, but also turned the ball over four times.

6) The Knicks just can't find their stride after wins this season, as they suffered yet another loss in games immediately after a win.
