Five things to know from Friday's game

1) The Knicks were just never really competitive against the Heat on Friday night. Miami jumped out to a quick lead, and they held on to lead from wire to wire. Defensively, the Knicks just couldn't contain the Heat, who, in the first half alone, scored 70 points on 61.5 percent shooting, including nine made three-pointers. The Heat's lead ballooned to 34 points in the second half, to the point where they didn't play their starters at all in the final quarter. The Knicks were able to cut into the lead slightly in the fourth, but it wasn't nearly enough.

2) Bobby Portis was one of the lone bright spots for the Knicks on Friday. Coming off the bench, Portis tallied a season-best 30 points. In just 24 minutes, Portis shot 12-of-17 from the floor, including four made threes.

3) Julius Randle and RJ Barrett, two of the team's leading scorers this season, struggled on Friday. Randle ended up with 13 points, but he was very inefficient, shooting just 3-of-11. Meanwhile, Barrett had one of his worst games as a pro, as the rookie finished with just two points on 1-of-10 shooting.

4) Mitchell Robinson had a strong game off the bench, capitalizing on some easy baskets and put-back opportunities. Robinson ended his night with 18 points and four rebounds in 28 minutes.

5) Seven members of the Heat scored in double figures on the night. Forward Bam Adebayo led the way with 20 points, followed by Duncan Robinson and Goran Dragic, who both added 18. Overall, the Heat shot 55.8 percent form the floor as a team.
