The Knicks led Game 1 over the Hawks from wire to wire but despite the 112-102 win, head coach Mike Brown still feels there are areas the team can do a better job. Mainly, their transition and pick and roll defense. He was pleased though with his players' commitment to keeping the Hawks off the offensive boards, citing Josh Hart for his 14-rebound game. Brown did take a moment to relish the energy of his first playoff game at MSG admitting, "I pinch myself every time I walk into this building."
