The Knicks went into Tuesday night’s win over the Cleveland Cavaliers thin at guard, and that could once again be the case on Thursday when the Knicks visit the Raptors in Tampa.

Per the team, point guards Frank Ntilikina (sprained right knee) and Dennis Smith Jr. (left quad) are both out, as are forwards Obi Toppin (right calf) and Omari Spellman (right knee).

Head coach Tom Thibodeau said Wednesday that Ntilikina injured his knee during the first quarter of New York’s 95-86 win over the Cavs on Tuesday, but played through it, totaling five points, three rebounds, three assists and two steals in 16 minutes. According to Thibodeau, Ntilikina is day-to-day and the injury isn’t considered serious.

Meanwhile, rookie Immanuel Quickley, who missed Tuesday’s win, is listed as questionable alongside Alec Burks (sprained left knee) and Austin Rivers (sore groin), while Kevin Knox is probable to play with a sore left knee.

Quickley took contact in practice on Wednesday, per Thibodeau, and the team will see how he reacts to that before making a decision on his status for Thursday.

If Ntilkina and Quickley are both forced to sit out, the Knicks’ rotation could be even more thin that it was on Tuesday, when they played just eight players. Elfrid Payton and RJ Barrett, the team’s starting guards, played a combined 75 minutes, while Julius Randle took on most of the offensive workload, posting his first triple-double as a Knick with 28 points, 12 rebounds, and 11 assists.

The Knicks and Raptors are set for a 7:30 p.m. tipoff on Thursday night.
