Kevin Knox was placed in COVID protocol on Thursday, with Knox becoming the fourth Knicks player in the last week to land in protocol.

Quentin Grimes was placed in protocol on Tuesday, after Obi Toppin and RJ Barrett landed in protocol this past weekend.

Per league rules, players who are placed in COVID protocol must have two negative PCR tests at least 24 hours apart to be cleared to return or remain in protocol and away from the team for a minimum of 10 days.

Per New York City COVID health and safety rules, all Knicks and Nets players must be vaccinated against COVID-19 or receive an exemption in order to play home games in the city.

The NBA has been dealing with a rise of players in COVID protocol over the last week.

The Chicago Bulls have 10 players -- including stars Zach LaVine and DeMar DeRozan -- in protocol, which resulted in the postponement of two  games.
