After an impressive three-game stretch, Kevin Durant is taking Saturday off.

Durant, who has been playing on a bum ankle, is dealing with soreness.

In his last three games, one of which the Nets almost had to forfeit had it not been for KD, he is averaging 39.7 points, including a 51-point effort in Detroit against the Pistons on Sunday. He's dropped 34 in each of his last two games, and had a triple-double on Tuesday.

Durant has been playing at an MVP level all season long, averaging 29.7 points, 7.9 rebounds and 5.9 assists on 52.3 percent shooting and 38.2 percent from deep.

Brooklyn is already decimated with players in health and safety protocols, including James Harden, LaMarcus Aldridge, Paul Millsap, and Bruce Brown (along with four others) while Joe Harris is still out after undergoing ankle surgery.
