With the first game of the season less than a week away, the Jets are still tinkering with their roster and brought in some players for a workout on Monday, including former Giants LB Alec Ogletree.
Ogletree is already familiar with the New York media and MetLife Stadium, having spent the last two seasons with the Giants after being traded to New York by the Rams back in 2018.
In his two years with the Giants, Ogletree had six interceptions, 2.0 sacks, 173 total tackles and 10 TFLs.
If Ogletree were to be picked up by the Jets or any other team, it would be his eighth year in the NFL.
In addition to Ogletree, the Jets brought in former Cardinals fourth-round pick Hakeem Butler, a wide receiver from Iowa State who spent his entire rookie season on IR after breaking his hand during training camp.
