The Jets announced early Thursday morning that they've signed former Giants linebacker Alec Ogletree and former Ravens receiver Jaleel Scott to their practice squad.
Ogletree, an eight-year veteran who was drafted by the Rams in 2013, spent the last two seasons with the crosstown rival Giants after being traded during the 2018 offseason.
In his two years in New York, Ogletree had six interceptions, 2.0 sacks, 173 total tackles and 10 TFLs, and was named a defensive captain in both seasons.
The former first round pick has a very good shot of eventually making the 53-man roster once the season begins, we'll just have to wait and see when that time comes.
Scott spent the last two seasons in Baltimore, but has just one reception under his belt in his career thus far.
The Jets have also placed WR Donte Moncrief on their practice squad IR.
