Jets head coach Robert Saleh gave injury updates on Mekhi Becton and Corey Davis, and discussed the absence of Jamison Crowder on Friday.

MEKHI BECTON

Becton has been out of action during OTAs due to a foot issue, with Ian Rapoport of NFL.com reporting that Becton is dealing with plantar fasciitis.

"He's dealing with a foot," Saleh said. "It's nothing that needs surgery. It's really not that big of a deal. As you guys know, he's a very large human being, so we've asked him to stay off his feet. So we keep him inside during practice.

"But he's been in meetings, he's been doing workouts, he's been doing all that stuff. So he's fine."

COREY DAVIS

Davis has been out due to a shoulder strain, but the injury is not viewed as being serious.

"If it was game week, he'd be rolling," Saleh said. "He's one of those veterans that really doesn't need the reps. We have a lot of young guys on our roster. He's perfectly fine, just working through a couple of nagging things.

JAMISON CROWDER'S ABSENCE

Crowder has not been present during OTAs.

"Obviously he's working through some stuff with a contract with Joe (Douglas) and his staff, agent, and all that stuff," Saleh said. "Really confident to get Jamison here quickly. When we do, he definitely has a role for this team."

Crowder is due $10 million this season in what is the final year of his contract, though it isn't guaranteed.

Asked what exactly Crowder and Douglas were working out, Saleh said that's more of a question for Douglas.
