If the Jets elect to become sellers leading up to the NFL trade deadline, could Robby Anderson be headed for a new team?

According to a report from Bleacher Report's Connor Rogers, there is interest around the league for Anderson's services.

Rogers notes that teams called the Jets last year attempting to trade for the wide receiver, but the Jets, led by GM Mike Maccagnan, had no intentions of moving him.

It will certainly be interesting to see what the price for starting wide receivers will be at this year's trade deadline on October 29 at 4 PM. The 49ers got things started on Tuesday, acquiring Emmanuel Sanders and a fifth round pick from the Broncos in exchange for a third round pick and a fourth round pick in next year's draft.

Sanders is 32 years old and his contract expires after this season. Anderson is younger at 26 years old, but his one-year contract is also up at the end of the year.

Anderson has struggled to get into a rhythm this year, but so has the Jets' offense as a whole. The receiver has hauled in just 17 catches for 226 yards in six games. His first three seasons with the Jets were productive, though, as he caught 155 passes for 2,280 yards and 15 touchdowns. He also averaged 14.7 yards per catch during his first three years, and while that number is up in 2019 (15.6 yards per catch), his 7.2 yards per target are the lowest of his career.

SNY's Ralph Vacchiano has previously pondered about four other names the Jets could potentially look to trade if they go the seller route at the deadline: Leonard Williams, Trumaine Johnson, Le'Veon Bell and Kelechi Osemele.
