Jets RB coach Taylor Embree will not be returning to the team next season, reports SNY's Connor Hughes.
Embree helped develop Breece Hall into one of the most electric running backs in the league.
When Nathaniel Hackett was hired as OC, Embree was one of head coach Robert Saleh's untouchables on the staff, Hughes noted.
Embree, 35, initially joined Saleh's staff in 2021.
Before working with the Jets, he coached tight ends at Colorado in 2020 and worked as an offensive quality control coach with the San Francisco 49ers from 2017-2019. His first job in the NFL was as a defensive assistant with the Kansas City Chiefs in 2016.
