JetsMarcus Maye gave the world an update on Twitter following a successful Achilles repair.

"Surgery went well. Thank you for all the prayers and love! It's up from here! Year 7 here I come" he shared Thursday afternoon, along with pictures of him in recovery.

Maye's injury didn't come at an ideal time. His time with the Jets seemed to be up at the trade deadline, as both sides couldn't come to an agreement on an extension past his rookie deal. However, he wasn't moved.

Then, in the Jets' game against the Indianapolis Colts, he suffered his season-ending injury.

Going into the offseason as an expected free agent, Maye now has "torn Achilles" all over his scouting report, which would likely bring his price down.
