Upon the news that Jamal Adams was traded to the Seattle Seahawks, Le'Veon Bell sent out a series of tweets seemingly throwing shade at the now former Jet.

The first tweet read, simply, "coo..." with a thumbs-up emoji.

He continued, "ppl do all the hootin & hollerin to get you brought in, just to leave...lol like people weird yooo, the internet got these dudes doin whatever for attention, even when they tell you sh*t they don’t believe themselves".

Adams notably did a lot of lobbying for the running back to come to the Jets when he hit the free agent market last year after his tenure with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He eventually signed a four-year deal with the Jets in March 2019.

In fact, Adams told the New York Daily News' Pat Leonard to "call [him] LeBron" upon Bell signing with the Jets.

Someone replied that Bell seemed mad at either Adams being traded, or just at Adams in general.

Bell replied, "I’m not mad, I'm motivated".

Eventually, Adams caught wind of his now-former teammate's tweetstorm, responding back with a missive of his own that read simply "Noted. See u in Week 14!" The Jets will travel to Seattle to take on the Seahawks on Dec. 13.

Bell wanted the last word, however, quote-tweeting Adams' response and adding, “noted” what?! lol that you LIED? PLEASEE TRUST that it IS “noted” then..& if I’m supposed to take “see you in week 14” as a threat...I don’t! but it’s still allll love and like I told you ON THE PHONE I want the best for you..if this is the best for you, I want it for you bro"

The Jets traded Adams and a 2022 fourth-rounder for Seattle's first-rounders in 2021 and 2022, as well as a third-rounder in 2021 and Bradley McDougald on Saturday.
