The sports world has joined the masses in protesting and sharing their voice following the deaths of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor and Ahmaud Arbery. Add Jets S Jamal Adams to that group.

Adams took to his Twitter page on Monday night to give his two cents on the matter. Here's what he had to say:

"I think it is important to find your peace in all of this and remember self-care and positive energy," he wrote. "My heart goes out to the family and friends of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, and Ahmaud Arbery. They're more than just hashtags. It's disgusting that we don't have time to deal with our trauma before the next tragedy. We can't let those conversations die and can't forget those we've lost. Stop killing us.

"This isn't just a political issue, this is about the morality of our nation."

Adams is among many athletes like LeBron James, Derek Jeter and others who have voiced their frustrations with what has happened.

The protests have stemmed from Floyd dying following his arrest in Minnesota after police officer Derek Chauvin -- who was later arrested and charged with third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter -- had his knee on Floyd's neck for roughly nine minutes while Floyd repeatedly said "I can't breathe."
