The Jets have moved linebacker Blake Cashman from Injured Reserve to the COVID-19/Reserve list.

Cashman is currently in his second stint on IR. He missed Weeks 2-4 with a hamstring injury, and he returned to Injured Reserve on Oct. 26 with a groin injury he suffered against the New England Patriots.

It is unclear why Cashman was moved to the COVID list, whether it is just for protocol or for a positive test.

Cashman, who has played in just three games this year, has not practiced, so this move doesn't seem like it will backtrack him at all. But we may have to wait and see if this affects any other Jet players and personnel.
