James Harden named Eastern Conference Player of the Week
Was one rebound shy of averaging triple-double for the week
Harden carried the Nets to a 5-0 west coast road trip while Kevin Durant missed the latter four games due to a hamstring injury - in those four contests without Durant, Harden averaged 31.8 points, 10.8 assists, and 9.0 rebounds while shooting 55 percent from the floor. He also knocked down 48.6 percent of his shots from three-point range.
It's Harden's second Player of the Week honors since joining the Nets - Harden also won the award the week of Jan. 25. It's the 26th Player of the Week honor of his career.
Harden and the Nets will take on the Sacramento Kings at Barclays Center on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m., where they will play in front of their home fans for the first time since the 2019-20 NBA season was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic last March.
