ICYMI in Mets Land: Blade Tidwell's impressive start highlights spring training updates

Mets pitching prospect Blade Tidwell was virtually unhittable, striking out five, including an immaculate second inning. Jose Siri started off the game with a diving grab in center field land later crushed a three-run homer against his former team to provide run support as the Mets went on to thump the Rays 10-1. The only blemish on the day was young prospect Luisangel Acuña getting hit on the left elbow by a pitch. He remained in the game but left shortly thereafter and will be re-evaluated on Sunday.
