The Giants will already be without three key starters on offense against the Carolina Panthers on Sunday, and now may be without their starting middle linebacker.

Tae Crowder was added to the injury report on Saturday with a thigh injury, and is now questionable for the Week 7 game.

Crowder has played in all six of the team's game this season, making 43 combined tackles (22 solo) with one pass defended. He was drafted by the Giants in the seventh-round of the 2020 NFL Draft out of Georgia, and made 52 combined tackles (29 solo) with a sack in 11 games last season.

Veteran linebacker Benardrick McKinney signed to the Giants practice squad on Oct. 19 and will be elevated to the game day roster against the Panthers with Crowder's status up in the air.

The 28-year-old from Mississippi State was a second-round pick by the Houston Texans in 2015 and played there until 2020. He was traded to the Miami Dolphins on March 17, but was released on Aug. 31 before the season started. McKinney made the Pro Bowl in 2018 and has totaled 530 combined tackles (314 solo) with 11.5 sacks, four forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, and an interception over 80 career games (77 starts).

The Giants also activated DT David Moa and signed WR David Sills from the practice squad.
