The Giants have announced that they’ve officially signed linebacker/safety Landon Collins to the active roster from the practice squad.
Head coach Brian Daboll told reporters earlier this week that the team would consider the move after Collins’ impressive play in the crucial win over the Commanders on Sunday night.
Collins played a season-high 27 defensive snaps on Sunday, and made three tackles including a critical third-down stop in the second-half.
He’ll certainly be seeing his role increase over the next few weeks, starting Saturday against the Minnesota Vikings.
The Giants also announced that they’ve signed Tae Crowder to the practice squad. The linebacker was cut earlier this week to make room for Collins on the active roster.
