As the 0-2 Giants prepare for Sunday’s matchup with the winless Atlanta Falcons, they started their week of practice with a couple of interesting injury notes.

Wide receiver Kenny Golladay (hip) and DB Logan Ryan (hamstring) were both listed among the team’s limited players, along with Saquon Barkley (knee), Evan Engram (calf) and tight end Kaden Smith (knee).

ESPN’s Jordan Raanan reported that Golladay “did very little” during the portion of practice that was open to the media. Through two games as a Giant, Golladay has hauled in seven of his 14 targets for 102 yards, averaging 14.6 yards per catch. His most notable moment with the G-Men to this point, however, was last Thursday’s open frustration with offensive coordinator Jason Garrett.

Ryan has also played in both games for the Giants, taking part in all 71 defensive snaps the Giants played against the Washington Football Team.

Meanwhile, Engram remains limited with head coach Joe Judge saying the team would need to see how he responds on the practice field this week before making any determinations about his playing status.

“We’re going to start him out early with the trainers, see where he’s at. He had a decent day the other day,” Judge said. “He’s still progressing, moving in the right direction. … We’re going to have to see these next couple of days how he can string it together.”
