Football can be a brutal game, but dancing can be dangerous, too.

Just ask Giants kick/punt returner Jawill Davis.

The Giants placed Davis on the injured reserve on Saturday after the returner sustained a dislocated patella from dancing in the locker room after the team's walkthrough, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

Davis was 'horsing around' following the team's walkthrough before Sunday's game against the Cowboys, a source told SNY's Ralph Vacchiano.

WR Alonzo Russell will replace Davis on the active roster and receivers Sterling Shepard and Corey Coleman are the likely fill-ins for punt returns.

Davis had returned 12 punts for 89 yards and seven kicks for 171 yards in seven games for the Giants this season. He also had four catches for 40 yards as a receiver.
