Here are the latest Giants injury updates as they prepare for their Week 6 matchup against the Bengals at MetLife Stadium...

Malik Nabers is out against the Bengals

Nabers, who missed last week's game due to a concussion, has been ruled out for Week 6 against the Bengals.

Nabers worked with the trainers on the side during Wednesday's practice and will be on the field on Friday doing more, but head coach Brian Daboll said "he had a pretty good concussion."

"We're making progress," Daboll said "But again, that's never anything you want to rush."

Nabers suffered the concussion during the fourth quarter of Week 4's loss to the Cowboys, and will be missing his second consecutive game.

Daboll was asked on Friday if Nabers was knocked unconscious on the hit

"Yeah, it was a pretty big hit," he said. "I'm not going to get into what it was, but it was certainly a big hit."

With Nabers out against the Seahawks in Week 5, Darius Slayton had a huge game, reeling in eight catches for 122 yards and a touchdown as New York topped Seattle.

Eric Gray (three for 50) and tight end Theo Johnson (five for 48) also stepped up.

Devin Singletary remains questionable

Singletary is being listed as questionable heading into Sunday night's contest as he continues dealing with a groin injury.

Like Nabers, Singletary was forced out of last week's win over the Seahawks due to the issue, but he's been able to return to the practice field in limited fashion over the past two days.

After the breakout showing that rookie Tyrone Tracy Jr. put together in his place, the Giants certainly shouldn't rush the veteran back towards a return if he isn't 100 percent.

Receiving his first career start, the youngster showed tremendous patience and vision as he carried the ball 18 times for 129 yards.

Kayvon Thibodeaux could possibly land on IR

Thibodeaux injured his wrist against Seattle, and had surgery on Wednesday morning to repair it.

Thibodeaux is "week-to-week," and could potentially land on IR.

"No decision yet," Daboll said on Friday regarding an IR stint. "There's a possibility. Got to see where we're at here after practice."

With Thibodeaux out, the Giants have lost one of their key pass-rushers from the three-headed monster that also includes Dexter Lawrence and Brian Burns.

Thibodeaux's absence could present an opportunity for backup linebacker Azeez Ojulari to step up.
