Malik Nabers is out against the Seahawks

Nabers suffered a concussion during the fourth quarter of last Thursday's loss to the Cowboys, but seemed to be in a somewhat decent spot to return for Week 5 given the long layoff.

However, while Nabers is making progress, he will not play against the Seahawks.

With Nabers unavailable against Seattle, it's possible that Jalin Hyatt will see his workload increase.

Hyatt has just three targets (and zero receptions) this season.

Devin Singletary is doubtful

Singletary didn't practice on Wednesday, and worked on the side on Thursday. On Friday, he took another step as he prepared to do more at practice.

Shortly after practice ended, the Giants listed Singletary as doubtful for Sunday's game.

Head coach Brian Daboll noted on Wednesday that he didn't believe that Singletary's groin injury would be a long-term issue.

Dru Phillips and Adoree' Jackson nearing returns

The Giants' secondary has been shorthanded, but help could be on the way, which would be big against the Seahawks' dangerous passing game.

Phillips, who played in the Giants' first three games and had a terrific showing in Week 2 against the Commanders -- with 12 total tackles, including seven solo -- returned to practice on Thursday after being out due to a calf injury and was trending in the right direction on Friday.

The same is true for Jackson (calf), who signed late during training camp and was active for the first three games of the season before missing last Thursday's game against the Cowboys.
