On Tuesday, Giants players voted on team captains, and the votes are in.
Head coach Brian Daboll told reporters after practice that the 10 captains as voted on by their peers are Daniel Jones, Saquon Barkley and Andrew Thomas from the offense, Xavier McKinney, Dexter Lawrence, Leonard Williams and Julian Love on defense, and Casey Kreiter, Graham Gano and Cameron Thomas on special teams.
Jones, Barkley and Gano were all captains in 2021 while Jones and Barkley were also captains in 2020. Barkley has been named a captain every year since 2019, one year after joining the league in 2018.
The 10 captains selected are the most by the G-Men in recent memory with the Giants naming seven captains in 2021 and six the year before that.
