The Kansas City Chiefs and Tampa Bay Buccaneers square off in Tampa on Sunday in Super Bowl LV.

The game features a matchup between perhaps the best quarterback ever and the young quarterback who could one day take that title from him.

But when it comes to Giants fans (whose team twice beat Tom Brady in the Super Bowl) and Jets fans (who haven't experienced a Super Bowl in over 50 years), it could be hard to find a rooting interest.

Here are some Giants and Jets ties to each Super Bowl team, and a reason to root for each franchise this weekend...

The Chiefs:

Have Le'Veon Bell, the embattled running back who was released by the Jets earlier this year. (He didn't record a stat in the AFC title game).
Have one-time Giant tackle Mike Remmers, plus DC Steve Spagnuolo, the Giants' defensive coordinator during the 2008 Super Bowl.

New York and K.C. are kindred spirits going back to their AFL days. The two teams won Super Bowls in '68 and '69, which stood as the only Super Bowl win, respectively, for either team until last year.

These teams have virtually zero history, but rooting for Spagnuolo to ruin another Super Bowl for Tom Brady might be enticing.

The Buccaneers:

Have former Giant Jason Pierre-Paul.
Have former Jets head coach Todd Bowles, who now serves (and has excelled) as Tampa Bay's defensive coordinator.
