The Giants selected Miami offensive tackle Francis Mauigoa with the No. 10 pick in the 2026 NFL Draft.

After seeing Arvell Reese fall to them at No. 5, head coach John Harbaugh and Big Blue add some protection for second-year quarterback Jaxson Dart with their second first-round pick.

Mauigoa, who is listed at 6-foot-5, 329 pounds, was seen as one of the top offensive line prospects in the draft.

He was a First-team All-American selection last year after starting all 16 games at right tackle for the Hurricanes during their run to the College Football National Championship Game. Mauigoa won the ACC's Jacobs Blocking Trophy for being the top offensive lineman in the conference.

There was an injury question around Mauigoa, as he has been dealing with a back issue that could require surgery at some point, though it is not seen to be a significant issue at the moment.

As a three-year starter, he started 42 games overall in college and is one of the younger players in the draft, as he won't turn 21 until June, and is the younger brother of Jets linebacker Kiko, a fifth-round pick last season.

The offensive line has been a big issue for the Giants. It is nailed on that Andrew Thomas will anchor the line at left tackle and Jermaine Eluemunor for the opposite tackle spot.

Mauigoa is expected to slide inside and play guard to begin with. And that is where the depth has been added to the Giants this offsesaon, with Aaron Stinnie, Lucas Patrick, Jake Kubas, and Daniel Faalele coming to New York. Evan Neal, Josh Ezeudu, and Bryan Hudson are also expected to compete for time at guard and John Michael Schmitz will be at center, where Hudson can play as well.

New York acquired the 10th pick from the Cincinnati Bengals in the Dexter Lawrence trade.
