DL Kwity Paye (Michigan)

The Giants defense showed signs of life at times this season but the unit (and the entire team, in fact) came crashing back to earth over the final few weeks. Finding a pass rush is at the top of the offseason to-do list and Paye, who is an athletic marvel, fits exactly what the team needs along the d-line.

OT Rashawn Slater (Northwestern)

Despite investments they've made in the offensive line, it continues to be a weakness after a season when QB Daniel Jones was sacked 45 times in 14 games. Slater was a guard in high school but played both tackle spots for the Wildcats and could settle in opposite 2020 first-rounder Andrew Thomas.

Steve Palazzolo, Pro Football Focus

WR Jaylen Waddle (Alabama)

Waddle is the first Alabama wide receiver off the board in part due to the deep speed that showed up in his averaging 18.9 yards per reception over his three-year career. Waddle was actually the highest-graded Alabama receiver on their loaded 2018 team. He adds a vertical weapon for QB Daniel Jones, who was quietly one of the best downfield passers in the league a year ago.

Jordan Reid, The Draft Network

WR DeVonta Smith (Alabama)

Expected to run it back another season with Daniel Jones, the team needs to continue to surround him with weapons in order to get the best look possible to determine if he can be “the guy” moving forward. Smith adds to an already talented trio of wide receivers in Darius Slayton, Sterling Shepard and Golden Tate.
