I mean, did anyone ever think Ryan Fitzpatrick would retire from the NFL? Unfortunately, it looks that way.

One of his former teammates, Fred Jackson, posted this on his Twitter which appears to be a text to FitzMagic congratulating him on a job well done over his 17-year career:

For two of those 17 years, Fitzpatrick donned a Jets uniform. During those 30 games, he started 27 of them, totaling 6,615 yards through the air with 43 touchdowns and 32 interceptions.

Fitzpatrick also played for the St. Louis Rams, Cincinnati Bengals, Buffalo Bills, Miami Dolphins, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Houston Texans, Tennessee Titans and Washington Commanders.
