Jets fans know the battles between CB Darrelle Revis and WR Chad Ochocinco were tons of fun to watch . Even the week before games, talking smack and getting things amped up before suiting up made it must-watch football.

Now with both players retired, Revis had to give props to the man he says not only ran the best routes on him, but in NFL history.

That's a pretty big claim to make with Hall-of-Famers and even current players in the league that might rival Ochocinco's skills. But Revis, who many consider one of the best defensive backs to play the game, saw many great receivers in his playing days. So he has the expertise to say it.

Ochocinco and Revis had an infamous gentleman's bet that the former would change his surname back to Johnson if Revis locked him up. Ochocinco said Revis couldn't cover him "in a brown paper bag on a corner of a Manhattan street inside a phone booth" back in 2010.

Though they're friends off the field, Revis admitted taking that personal and locked him up during the next contests where No. 85 had just two catches for 28 yards. There was also a game where Ochocinco had zero catches, but said he tweaked his knee in pre-game warmups and played anyway. He never changed his name back, though.

But that's all over and done with, and Revis thinks his crisp route-running and ability to get off the line of scrimmage isn't rivaled by anyone to line up opposite him. Or any other corner for that matter.
