Former Islanders goalie Robin Lehner was awarded the 2018-19 Masterton Trophy, given annually to the National Hockey League player who best exemplifies the qualities of perseverance, sportsmanship, and dedication to ice hockey.

On Saturday, he shared a photo of the trophy on his Twitter account, with one glaring error.

The trophy incorrectly says that Lehner played for the Rangers, not the Islanders.

"You had one job…" Lehner said in his tweet.

Lehner, who signed with the Chicago Blackhawks this offseason, revealed in a piece for The Athletic in September that he had been addicted to drugs and alcohol and was diagnosed with bipolar disorder. On April 6, Lehner wrote in a note posted on his Twitter account that he'd been sober for one year.

Lehner's story is an inspiring one, so hopefully the NHL will quickly fix this gaffe.

The Rangers had some fun with the situation, sending out a congratulatory tweet to Lehner.
