Currently in his first season with the Cleveland Browns, former Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. is having arguably the most disappointing season of his career.

On Thursday, Beckham was unclear on his desire to be back with the Browns next season.

"No one knows what the future holds tomorrow,'' Beckham said. "I couldn't tell you what's going to happen. My locker is right beside one of the men (Jarvis Landry) that means the most to me in the world. I think about just being able to come to work and see him every single day and how special this could be. I couldn't sit here and tell you whether I'm going to be here, want to be here, don't want to be here."

Beckham is currently under contract through 2023, after signing a five-year, $90 million contract with the Giants in August of 2018. However, he's earned most of the $65 million in guaranteed money from his new contract -- allowing the Browns to part ways with him after this season without any dead money on their cap.

"This is exactly where I'm at now and I wouldn't rather be anywhere else," Beckham said. "God has a plan. In the offseason, everything will figure itself out. That's just something I'm going to tune out for right now. Catch me in the offseason and we'll see what happens. I don't know God's plan."

The Browns (5-7) are in third place in the AFC North and have a four percent chance at making the playoffs. They play the Cincinnati Bengals (1-11) twice, the Arizona Cardinals (3-8), and the Baltimore Ravens (10-2) to close out the season.

In 12 games this season, Beckham has 57 receptions for 805 yards and only two touchdowns. He is averaging just 4.8 receptions per game -- a big dropoff from his average of 6.6 receptions per game in five seasons with the Giants.

After giving up safety Jabrill Peppers, a 2019 first round pick (DL Dexter Lawrence), and a 2019 third round pick (LB Oshane Ximines), it'll be interesting to see what the Browns do with Beckham after the season.

"That's something that we'll worry about when offseason comes around,'' Beckham said. "Right now I'm just still learning, I'm learning every single day. New experiences and just trying to find a way to finish the rest of the season strong. If it's possible that we can make the playoffs, I'm all in."
