The Giants are bringing in a few players for workout sessions with the NFL season kicking off in less than two weeks.
Included in that group is former Giants center Jon Halapio, who was with the team just last season until he tore his Achilles and was let into the free agent market back in March.
Halapio started 15 games for the Giants in 2019 and could be a viable option again at center for New York this season considering all the questions during training camp about the position.
Aside from Halapio, the Giants are also bringing in wide receivers Johnny Holton and Jaron Brown, and quarterback Jalan McClendon.
Holton has been in the league for parts of the last four seasons with the Raiders and Steelers and has caught 14 passes for 273 yards and three touchdowns in his career.
Brown is trying to play his eighth year in the NFL in 2020, having played with the Cardinals from 2013-2017 and with the Seahawks for two seasons after that.
In 101 career games, Brown has 116 receptions for 1563 yards and 16 touchdowns.
McClendon went undrafted in 2019 out of Baylor and NC State, and was briefly signed by the Washington Football Team last preseason.
