The Devils have had a busy offseason after another rough campaign, as they try to make the playoffs for just the second time since their Stanley Cup Final run in 2012.

Here's every Devils selection from the 2022 NHL Draft...

First round, No. 2 - D Simon Nemec (Slovakia Extraliga, Nitra)

Nemec only had one regular season goal in the Slovak Extraliga, but netted four in the playoffs. He helped Slovakia to a Bronze medal in the 2022 Olympics. The 18-year-old will be alongside Dougie Hamilton, who is entering the second year of a seven-year deal.

Second round, No. 46 - D Seamus Casey (USHL, NTDP)

The Devils acquired the 46th pick along with goalie Vitek Vanecek early Friday morning and selected another defensemen, this time from the USA. The Michigan commit scored seven goals and dished out 16 assists last season in the USHL with the National Team Development Program.

Fourth round, No. 102 - G Tyler Brennan (WHL, Prince George)

Future backup for Vanecek? Brennan is the third goalie taken in this draft, and the first from North America. He had a .954 save percentage in the playoffs, despite his team being swept in four games.

Fourth round, No. 110 - D Daniil Orlov (Russia Jr., Yuzhno Sakhalinsk 2)

Orlov scored 30 points in 56 games, which was tied for 11th in his league last season.

Fourth round, No. 126 - D Charles Leddy (Boston College)

A Boston College commit, Leddy has previously played for the US Under-18 and Under-17 National Teams. The 18-year-old is listed at 6-foot-1, 185 pounds.

Fifth round, No. 141 - RW Petr Hauser (Czech Republic Jr., Sparta Jr.)

He racked up 59 points (25 goals, 34 assists) in just 41 games, and was a +41 on the ice. The 6'3", 200-pounder was selected to play for the Cezchs in the World Juniors before its cancellation.

Sixth round, No. 166 - LW Josh Filmon (WHL, Swift Current)

Filmon scored 23 goals and recorded 22 assists in 67 games this season and listed at just a hair under 6'3". TSN ranked him as the 75th best prospect in the draft, so perhaps the Devils got a steal here.

Seventh round, No. 198 - D Artem Barabosha (Finland Jr., JVP Jr.)

He tallied 11 points in 45 games this past season, but some experts think he can be an old-school defenseman in the league.
