"It's certainly frustrating for me. [We're] there at the end of the game with a chance to score, go for two and tie up the game, and to not do that is certainly frustrating. We gotta stay at it, learn, and keep moving forward," said Jones. "Can't force the ball in those situations."

Looking back on it, it seemed like Jones had some room to run. But he didn't, and his turnover problem from last year has carried over into his second NFL season.

"I'd like to go back and look at the tape there and see that play, but yeah, I may have had the opportunity to run. Gotta learn from it and move on," he said.

Jones, like head coach Joe Judge, said he liked the way the offense was moving the ball, but the team has been crumbling in the "red area" since Week 1.

"Just gotta execute. When we get down in scoring position, I think we've hurt ourselves in a lot of those situations, and I have to be better," Jones said.

"We've been able to move the ball and get down there" he continued. "I think once we get down there, we need to execute. I think we've got the pieces to do it. Guys are playing well, we just need to be more consistent and execute down there in the red area and finish drives.

"We gotta score more points. I think we all realize that, and it's about scoring touchdowns when we get down there."

Despite the offensive struggles, with a team that has scored just three touchdowns all year, and none since Week 2, Jones said they remain confident.

"The confidence is high. I think those are opportunities you want as an offense to go down there and score in a two-minute drive," Jones said. We were confident, we were excited, got off to a good start and got the ball going. I think we gotta finish that. As far as the attitude or the energy in the huddle, I think it's been positive and we were certainly confident going into that [final] drive."
