The Mets (77-83, third in NL East) continue their final series of the season against the Atlanta Braves (86-73, first in NL East) on Saturday at 7:15 p.m.

Mets Notes

  • Prior to the game, the Mets reinstated Robert Gsellman from the 60-day IL, optioned Tylor Megill to Triple-A Syracuse, and designated Brandon Drury for assignment.
  • Though it is Carrasco's turn in the rotation, Luis Rojas said earlier this week that Trevor Williams was likely to start Saturday. Now, it's very possible Williams goes behind Noah Syndergaard on Sunday.
  • Francisco Lindor is one hit away from 1,000 for his MLB career, and Javier Baez is one home run away from 150 as a big-leaguer.
  • The Mets are 30-49 on the road this season, a steep drop-off from the team's 47-34 home record.
